Tomorrow (30th September) Microsoft will be holding an event in San Francisco to announce Windows 9 – Microsoft’s new client operating system.

There will be many new features, chief amongst them will be the return of the Start Menu, and improvements in speed and stability.

The event will probably see the release of the Technical Preview of Windows. That’s just over three years after Microsoft unveiled the first public beta build of Windows 8.
