New Staff Member – Scott Kempton

Hi there my name is Scott Kempton and am Northampton born and raised. Northampton schooling throughout until my first Job in IT was for ALD Automotive – First line support and call management with resolution where applicable within SLA’s, ensuring all tickets new or outstanding are up to date with accurate and correct information.

Time to move on saw me start work for Phoenix IT. various promotions saw me stay with Phoenix / Daisy for over 10 years ending with a helpdesk where we supported 11000 users all under tight SLA’s. It was here I met the current owner of Ashby Computer Services – Ian Ruffell and knew about Ashby and their services, something that always interested me.

From Daisy I moved to Tingdene Homes becoming their in house IT manager supporting their infrastucture for 5 years. We saw major transformations in terms of IT base, building works and user base assisting with their Covid work from home platform to ensure that the company could still function.

The opportunity to work again with Ian and Ashby Computers was too good to turn down and here I am. looking forward to learning more hands on Office 365 migrations and server migrations over the next few months.

Outside of work I am a keen Liverpool FC supporter and am looking forward to the office banter that this will create 🙂
