Situation
An ageing server for the customer meant that security and future-proofing the business had become an important topic of discussion with the customer.
Approach
We quoted a replacement server, but after discussion, it was deemed that the server was no longer needed – as their applications had been moved to the cloud.
So we replanned our approach and quoted Office 365 Business Premium, giving them central control of users, security, AV and filtering.
The customer loved this idea, as the initial outlay was much reduced, and no hardware onsite meant fewer security issues and no power requirements.
We went ahead and updated the 365 tenants for them, set up the accounts and systems and installed it on the client’s machines.
